Turnbuckle 21-1/2" Wishbone, Right Side, Long Wheelbase, Upper Hole
Details
Turnbuckle Wishbone design allows for super easy length adjustment. Simply break the jam nut loose and turn the turnbuckle to lengthen or shorten the wishbone by up to 1-1/2". Right hand turnbuckle and left hand rod end threads enable the rapid adjustment. Use our handy Thin 3/4"-13/16" Wrench for Wishbone Turnbuckle to make adjustments with minimal effort.
How to order the correct Turnbuckle Wishbone: If currently using a standard wishbone, simply order the turnbuckle wishbone in the same length as your standard wishbone, since the turnbuckle wishbone measurements account for the addition of the turnbuckle insert and jam nut (all sold separately). For example, the 20” turnbuckle wishbone actually measures 19-1/4” across the top, but after adding the turnbuckle insert, the median effective top length is 20”. 95-1072 Titanium Turnbuckle, rod ends and jam nuts are all sold separately. In cases when the rod end is at full extension, it is recommended to add a 70-700Ti 3/4” jam nut (sold separately) to the turnbuckle.
This wishbone fits the upper hole (where the front of the wishbone mounts) on any chassis that has the upper hole. Most X6's have this hole location as well as a few X4's, and all X7's. This will only fit the X7 when the rear axle is positioned in the standard wheelbase location (long wheelbase). When installed, the median effective top length is 21-1/2”.
Requires 95-1072 Titanium Turnbuckle, 1/2" male left hand rod end & jam nut on the front, and two 7/16" right hand rod ends & jam nuts on the rear. In cases when the rod end is at full extension, it is recommended to add a 3/4” jam nut (sold separately) to the turnbuckle.
Turnbuckle wishbones are fabricated from 4130 chromoly tubing in our Lewisberry, PA facility, and powder coated black.
Can I turn a standard wishbone into a turnbuckle wishbone? No. The turnbuckle wishbone has a 3/4”-16 thread instead of a 1/2”-20 thread, so you need to purchase the turnbuckle wishbone and the corresponding turnbuckle, jam nut and rod end.
