Mike Dicely
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints, Asphalt 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints, Lightning Sprints, 125 Sprints, Midgets, TQ Midgets
During his 35 year micro sprint racing career, Hyper Racing President and Co-Owner, Mike Dicely has won over 325 features and eleven point championships. Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Industry and Technology in 1988 and then worked as a mechanical design engineer for seven years. Mike researches, develops and designs all of our chassis and components. He provides technical support on the phone, by email, on our website, and at the track. He is an industry icon who has contributed major developments to Micro Sprint technology, with the groundbreaking EVO Electronic Fuel Injection topping the list. He is our lead engine tuner and he works closely with the Hyper technicians in fuel injection R&D.
Gary Linderman
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints
Gary Linderman joined Hyper Racing in 2021 as Vice President of Manufacturing when Hyper Racing partnered with Linderman Race Components. As shop supervisor, Gary oversees all operations relating to products manufactured at our Machined Components Division including materials purchasing, scheduling, liaison to the inventory team, programming and more.
J.D. Esh
J.D. Esh is our general manager and head of the customer service department. He acts as the link between fabrication and fulfillment and orchestrates the chassis delivery schedule. This is no easy feat considering the many options available on each build, but J.D. makes it all happen so that your car is just like you want it. J.D. began in racing as crew chief for his brother, Doug Esh, helping him work his way up through the ranks and achieve his 410 sprint car goals. J.D. is a great resource for beginning and experienced teams alike. Known for his friendly approach, J.D. helps customers find the right chassis to meet their goals. He ensures Hyper Racing’s high standards are reflected in every sale and every build.
Jim Radney
Racing Experience: Midgets, 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints
Jim Radney began his Hyper Racing journey as a Hyper Chassis owner/driver and dealer in New York. When we were looking for someone in customer service and technical support, we knew we just had to make him part of the home team. Jim Radney is always ready to offer expert technical support and makes sure you get just the right part. Jim has a wealth of experience in racing, including driving every style of car we have built here, which makes him uniquely qualified to answer just about every technical question! His helpful tone and willingness to share all he knows makes his extension a very popular one for experienced and novice racers alike. He’s also a successful racer with a 2018 win on prelim night at the Big Dance. Jim is also vital to the operations of our Hyper Racing house car team and technical support trailer that travels from coast to coast to the nation’s biggest 600 Sprint events, acting as crew chief for many big wins, and providing support to our customers all over the country.
Johnny Boland
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints
"Johnny B" hails from Gainesville, Texas. He joins our customer service and order fulfillment team working remotely in our Southwest market. Johnny’s passion for racing was so strong, he decided to make it more than a hobby and we couldn't be prouder to have him aboard. He has experienced much in his 600 Sprint racing life including multiple heat wins at the 2020 Tulsa Shootout and many feature wins at his area tracks. Johnny has also scored multiple big wins in his driving career, including the 2023 $12,000 High Banks Hustle, and the 2024 $10,000 KKM Challenge at US 24 Speedway. You can find Johnny and his Boland Speed & Performance team at many of the nation's biggest 600 events, especially through the Midwest.
Nick Fillman
Nick plays a key role in our order fulfillment department. His passion for racing and prior experience with a major sporting goods retailer make him a perfect fit for the Hyper Racing team. He works tirelessly to pull, pack, and ship orders of all sizes — from small parts to complete chassis carefully prepared for freight delivery. Since 2022, Nick has also served as the promoter of the Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek and may expand his involvement to additional events in the future. On the road, you’ll often find him assisting in the Hyper Racing parts trailer at major events like the Tulsa Shootout and high-profile races. Nick also puts his writing skills to work by contributing articles to our News section.
Melanie Auman
Melanie takes great pride in serving the racing community as part of our fulfillment team and many other roles at Hyper Racing. Coming from a racing family, she has many years of experience being at the track as a member of a race team and being around the action. Melanie works with the Marketing team to curate content for our social media pages, and handles track sponsorships. Melanie plays a vital role every year with the operation of 600 Speedweek, working more than one job. She can be found working the Hyper Parts trailer, and assisting with social media and award distribution with the 600 Speedweek staff. Melanie has also worked alongside the Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway social media team helping them with event promotion and other tasks. While she's not on the job, Melanie can be found at local micro sprint races supporting the Snyder Racing Enterprises/Groff Motorsports teams and other racing events throughout the northeast.
Caneesa Murray
Caneesa began her journey at Hyper Racing as a summer parts puller, quickly standing out for her eagerness to learn and strong work ethic. Her adaptability helped her excel in various roles within the customer support and fulfillment team. Recognizing her talent for organization and data analysis, she transitioned into the role of Inventory Control Specialist, which she has embraced with confidence. In this role, Caneesa ensures inventory is accurately received, organized, and ready for quick fulfillment. She works behind the scenes to make sure the parts you order are in stock and shipped efficiently to your door. You’ll also find her assisting customers at events like the Tulsa Shootout and Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek. When she’s not at Hyper Racing or at the track, Caneesa enjoys spending time with her dog, Oakley.
Liam Tencza
We are happy to welcome Liam Tencza to our Fulfillment team. Liam pulls, packs and ships orders. As a Communication/Journalism graduate from Shippensburg University, he puts his writing skills to good use when he corresponds via email and phone with customers to handle questions that arise on a normal shipping day. While not working for Hyper Racing, Liam can be found behind the camera and the controls as a Live Production Assistant for FloRacing at the Port Royal Speedway and other area speedways. In his free time, Liam is an avid concert goer attending shows all across the northeast for a variety of artists and musicians.
Ron Kramer
Racing Experience: 410 Sprints
Ron Kramer came to us looking for a part time gig, and he quickly became a valued member of the team. He assists Caneesa in the area of Receiving and Inventory Control. A former racer himself, Ron now fields a 600 Sprint for his son Brian, who has scored numerous feature wins at Path Valley, Linda’s, McGrewBid, and Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway. In 2022, Brian captured the Linda’s Speedway Winged 600 Track Championship with Ron as his car owner and crew chief.
Christy Dicely
Vice President and Co-Owner, Christy Dicely designs and produces all of our advertising, assists with our website, leads our social media teams and serves as our marketing manager. For many years, Christy worked in customer service and order fulfillment, and she still moonlights there once in a while.
Madison Dicely
Madison Dicely is the newest part of our marketing and graphic design team. She graduated from Kutztown University in 2024 with a degree in Communication Design. She and Christy Dicely work together to create all of the visual elements for Hyper Racing. Madison grew up at the shop and race track and made her way back to her roots.
Nash Ely
Currently Racing: 410 Winged Sprints
Racing Experience: 360 Wingless Sprints, 600 Sprints, 410 Winged and Wingless Sprints, 358 Winged Sprints
Nash Ely, a fourth generation racer, started in 600 Sprints when he was 13 and began working in electronic fuel injection at age 14. Nash's natural mechanical ability and attention to detail makes him a natural to lead our fuel injection department. He is well-versed in all areas of engine and fuel injection. Since he has also raced 600 Sprints, he can answer tech support questions of any kind. Nash is currently a regular in the 410 sprint car division at the Port Royal Speedway, and competes in select area 410 sprint car events.
Alex Heckendorn
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints, 500 Sprints
Alex Heckendorn joins us in the Fuel Injection Department. (Yes, he is a third generation Heckendorn working at Hyper Racing: Chris’ son and Ed’s grandson!) In addition to utilizing his superhuman strength to mount and unmount engines from the dyno, Alex is a valuable part of the fuel injection department, helping to build the EVO Fuel Injection systems, complete wiring harnesses, clean nozzles and more. Alex can be found racing his 600 Sprint both winged and wingless at area speedways during the course of the season.
Justin Yohn
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints

Nathan Smith
Nate loves racing and it fulfilled his dream to work at Hyper Racing. Nate works alongside our Fuel Injection Technicians. He assists with just about everything, and never says no to a request to help the team and do what needs to be done. He is Mazda certified and has experience working in the automotive industry. When he's not racing, Nate can be found at the races as lead photographer for Apex Media.
Chris Snyder
Racing Experience: 358 Sprints, 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints, 250 4-Stroke Sprint, Karts
Attention to detail is second to none with Chris Snyder. Chris cuts, bends and notches the frame members, designs, fabricates and fits all of the sheet metal, and designs and fits fiberglass body panels. Chris also handles repair jobs and custom fabrication. Chris fields questions regarding 2-stroke engines, and repairs to Hyper Racing Chassis. When he’s not working on the 600cc Sprints, Chris spends his Saturday nights at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, wrenching on the Snyder-owned, #5 driven by Christian Bruno as well as many area speedways with the Groff Motorsports #5 team.
Chris Heckendorn
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints, 500 Sprints, 270 Sprints
If there is anything Chris Heckendorn can’t do, we have yet to find it. He uses his ingenuity and talent to get all of our race ready cars assembled and out the door to their new owners. This is no easy feat when every car is custom built and can involve hundreds of different options. When he’s not assembling, Chris helps out in the fabrication department with Chris Snyder. Chris has also been a major piece of Hyper Racing’s development of our Junior Sprints, assisting in the assembly, review, and improvement of the Junior Sprint chassis from the beginning, as well as spearheading the Junior Sprint rental program. While not at Hyper, He enjoys working on his son Alex’s car and crewing for him at area tracks.
Mike Linderman
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Gary's son, Mike Linderman, completes the three-generation team at our Machined Components Division. Mike practically grew up in the machine shop and worked side-by-side with his dad and grandfather. Mike possesses a strong knowledge of Solidworks CAD software, and he is familiar with all phases of machine shop operation. Mike Linderman currently races a Hyper 600 at local PA tracks and travels to select national events.
Dale Linderman
Linderman Race Components began in 2007 as a small garage-based machine shop owned by Gary's father, Dale Linderman and quickly grew to be the biggest supplier of machined components for Hyper Racing. Now part of Hyper Racing, we owe a debt of gratitude to Dale and enjoy having him as part of the team. Dale works with the Machined Components Division and has developed several processes to streamline production of our parts.
Bill Simco
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints
Bill Simco joined the welding team and he hasn’t lifted the pedal yet! With over 15 years of professional welding experience, Bill is a real asset to the Hyper welding and fabrication department. Bill is responsible for keeping all of our welded components on the shelves. Nerf bars, wing uprights, shifter handles, front axles, you name it, it’s all in stock, on time and done right, thanks to Bill. In recent years, Bill’s son William has piloted a Hyper Racing Junior Sprint competing at area speedways, and in 2026 William will move into a Hyper Racing 600!
Mason Chaney
Racing Experience: 358 Winged Sprints, Legends
Mason Chaney comes to us with a wealth of welding experience and he puts it to use building race cars. He started out racing Legends and earned 18 wins, a state championship, and a national championship in three years. Yes, we are busting on him for racing a car with fenders!
Chase Donley
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints
Chase Donley began by coming in to help out every day after school and his dedication was rewarded when we invited him to join the team as a full time welder and fabrication assistant. Chase is a hard worker and a quick learner. He races the #15D 600 Sprint at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway and other area Speedway’s. Chase has been a feature winner at Lanco as well as the McGrewBid Motoplex!
Rickey Lint
Rickey has been welding for 15 years before he began with Hyper Racing. We could tell right off the bat that his talent level qualifies him to weld frames. He fits right in with the dedicated welding team and provides a level of perfection and professionalism we like here at Hyper Racing.
Ed Heckendorn
Ed works with the fabricators, inventory team and machine shop, making sure all of the parts go back and forth to anodizing and powdercoating as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are so fortunate to have him to take care of this every week.
Cheyanne Freels
