Mike Dicely
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints, Asphalt 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints, Lightning Sprints, 125 Sprints, Midgets, TQ Midgets
During his 35 year micro sprint racing career, Hyper Racing President and Co-Owner, Mike Dicely has won over 325 features and eleven point championships. Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Industry and Technology in 1988 and then worked as a mechanical design engineer for seven years. Mike researches, develops and designs all of our chassis and components. He provides technical support on the phone, by email, on our website, and at the track. He is an industry icon who has contributed major developments to Micro Sprint technology, with the groundbreaking EVO Electronic Fuel Injection topping the list. He is our lead engine tuner and he works closely with the Hyper technicians in fuel injection R&D.




Gary Linderman
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints
Gary Linderman joined Hyper Racing in 2021 as Vice President of Manufacturing when Hyper Racing partnered with Linderman Race Components. As shop supervisor, Gary oversees all operations relating to products manufactured at our Machined Components Division including materials purchasing, scheduling, liaison to the inventory team, programming and more.




J.D. Esh
J.D. Esh is our general manager. He acts as the link between fabrication and fulfillment and orchestrates the chassis delivery schedule. This is no easy feat considering the many options available on each build, but J.D. makes it all happen so that your car is just like you want it. J.D. began in racing as crew chief for his brother, Doug Esh, helping him achieve his 410 sprint car goals. J.D. continues to play a vital role as motivational coach and advisor for his nephews, Jared and Tyler Esh. Many have benefited from one of his phone counseling sessions on many topics of racing. J.D. is a great resource for beginning and experienced teams alike.




Christy Dicely
Vice President and Co-Owner, Christy Dicely designs and produces all of our print advertising and catalogs, assists with our website, leads our social media teams and serves as our marketing manager. For many years, Christy worked in customer service and order fulfillment, and she still moonlights there once in a while.




Jim Radney
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Racing Experience: Midgets, 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints
Jim Radney began his Hyper Racing journey as a Hyper Chassis owner/driver and dealer in New York. When we were looking for someone in customer service and technical support, we knew we just had to make him part of the home team. Jim Radney is always ready to offer expert technical support and makes sure you get just the right part. Jim has a wealth of experience in racing and his helpful tone and willingness to share all he knows make his extension a very popular one for experienced and novice racers alike. Jim takes phone orders, answers technical questions and leads the fulfillment team. Jim has driven every style of car we build which makes him uniquely qualified to answer your questions. He’s also a successful racer with a 2018 win on prelim night at the Big Dance. Jim will travel and race his #95 600 Sprint this summer.




Johnny Boland
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints
"Johnny B" hails from Fort Worth, Texas. He joins our customer service and order fulfillment team working remotely in our Southwest market. Johnny’s passion for racing was so strong, he knew he wanted to make it more than a hobby and we couldn't be prouder to have him as part of the team. He has experienced much in his 600 Sprint racing life including multiple heat wins at the 2020 Tulsa Shootout and many feature wins at his area tracks. We expect great things from Johnny B!




Nick Fillman
Nick plays a key role in our order fulfillment department. He works tirelessly to pull, pack and ship orders. Nick's involvement and passion for racing as well as prior experience with a major sporting goods retailer make him a perfect fit for the team. In his spare time, Nick works as the PR Director and official for USAC East Coast Sprint Cars and also as PR director for the Hyper Racing PA 600 Speedweek.




Melanie Auman
Melanie Auman takes great pride in serving the racing community as part of our fulfillment team. She has experience in the banking industry, so her attention to detail and organizational skills are a huge asset to her position here at Hyper Racing. Melanie works with the Marketing team to curate content for our social media pages, and handles track sponsorships. When she's not on the job, Melanie can be found at the race track supporting her cousin, 410 Sprint driver Trey Hivner, or at local micro sprint races.




Kim Bankert
Kim is our newest team member working in the Sales Department. She works with Jim, J.D. and the mighty fulfillment team. There is a lot to learn, but Kim is up to the challenge, and she is making strides to be a bigger part of our team every day. Kim loves to go to the sprint car races at Lincoln, and she has a passion for all things Ford Mustang. Before working at Hyper Racing, she worked for Suzuki Motor of North America.




Caneesa Murray
We are so fortunate to have “Neesi” with us while she attends college to earn her degree. Neesi answers calls, works tirelessly to fulfill backorders, pulls parts and helps manage inventory. She is a team player who can problem solve like a pro.




Jason Shade
Jason Shade's vast experience in the shipping and receiving department and his attention to detail make him perfect for the position of inventory control specialist. He has proven to be up to the challenge. He receives and prepares inventory for barcode scanning, secures and maintains adequate shelf space and records and updates bin locations. He frequently performs physical inventory counts and ensures that the warehouse is clean and organized. On occasion, Jason assists with customer service on the phone and at the counter. Outside his time at Hyper, Jason continues on his quest to visit every race track in the country, which is rapidly approaching 100. He also crews for the Bo Gordon #13 358 Sprint Car at local tracks.




Ron Kramer
Racing Experience: 410 Sprints
Ron Kramer came to us looking for a part time gig, and he quickly became a valued member of the team. He assists Jason Shade in the area of Receiving and Inventory Control. A former racer himself, Ron fields a 600 Sprint with his son Brian at the Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway.




Nash Ely
Currently Racing: 360 Sprints, 410 Wingless Sprints
Racing Experience: 360 Wingless Sprints, 600 Sprints, 410 Wingless Sprints
Nash Ely, a fourth generation racer, started in 600 Sprints when he was 13 and began working in fuel injection at age 14. Nash's natural mechanical ability and attention to detail makes him a natural to head our fuel injection department. He is well-versed in all areas of engine and fuel injection. Since he has also raced 600 Sprints can answer tech support questions of any kind. Nash drives a 360 Non-Wing Sprint Car with the USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series.




Alex Heckendorn
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints, 500 Sprints
Alex Heckendorn joins us in the Fuel Injection Department. (Yes, he is a third generation Heckendorn working at Hyper Racing: Chris’ son and Ed’s grandson!) In addition to utilizing his superhuman strength to mount and unmount engines from the dyno, Alex is a valuable part of the fuel injection department, helping to build the EVO Fuel Injection Systems, complete wiring harnesses, clean nozzles and more. Alex will be racing his 600 Sprint at area tracks this year.




Justin Yohn
Justin lives by the motto “It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.” This type of preparedness will not only take you far in racing and in the game of life, it will set you up for success in the EVO Fuel Injection Department. Justin assembles EVO systems, monitors inventory levels, makes harnesses, and assists on the phones and with supplies. When he’s not working, Justin races karts or street stocks.




Chris Snyder
Racing Experience: 358 Sprints, 600 Sprints, 270 Sprints, 250 4-Stroke Sprint, Karts
Attention to detail is second to none with Chris Snyder. Chris cuts, bends and notches the frame members, designs, fabricates and fits all of the sheet metal, and designs and fits fiberglass body panels. Chris also handles repair jobs and custom fabrication. Chris fields questions regarding 2-stroke engines, and can provide tech for quarter midget inquiries. When he’s not working on the 600cc Sprints, Chris spends his Saturday nights at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, wrenching on the Snyder-owned, #5 driven by Christian Bruno.




Chris Heckendorn
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints, 500 Sprints, 270 Sprints
If there is anything Chris Heckendorn can’t do, we have yet to find it. He uses his ingenuity and talent to get all of our race ready cars assembled and out the door to their new owners. This is no easy feat when every car is custom built and can involve hundreds of different options. When he’s not assembling, Chris helps out in the fabrication department with Chris Snyder. He enjoys working on his son Alex’s car and crewing for him at area tracks.




Mike Linderman
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Gary's son, Mike Linderman, completes the three-generation team at our Machined Components Division. Mike practically grew up in the machine shop and worked side-by-side with his dad and grandfather. Mike possesses a strong knowledge of Solidworks CAD software, and he is familiar with all phases of machine shop operation. Mike Linderman currently races a Hyper 600 at local PA tracks and travels to select national events.




Dale Linderman
Linderman Race Components began in 2007 as a small garage-based machine shop owned by Gary's father, Dale Linderman and quickly grew to be the biggest supplier of machined components for Hyper Racing. Now part of Hyper Racing, we owe a debt of gratitude to Dale and enjoy having him as part of the team. Dale works with the Machined Components Division and has developed several processes to streamline production of our parts.




Wyatt Coy
Wyatt completed his program at vocational technical school and had prior CNC machine experience before joining the team here at Hyper Racing. Wyatt races his ‘84 Camaro at South Mountain Raceway which is a 1/8 mile drag strip. He is one of our CNC Machinists.




Bill Simco
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints
Bill Simco joined the welding team and he hasn’t lifted the pedal yet! With 15 years of professional welding experience, Bill is a real asset to the Hyper welding and fabrication department. Bill is responsible for keeping all of our welded components on the shelves. Nerf bars, wing uprights, shifter handles, front axles, you name it, it’s all in stock, on time and done right, thanks to Bill.




Mason Chaney
Currently Racing: 358 Winged Sprints
Racing Experience: 358 Winged Sprints, Legends
Mason Chaney comes to us with a wealth of welding experience and he puts it to use building race cars. He started out racing Legends and earned 18 wins, a state championship, and a national championship in three years. Yes, we are busting on him for racing a car with fenders, but now he's open wheel! Look for Mason racing his 358 Winged Sprint Car at Lincoln Speedway and Trail-Way Speedway.




Chase Donley
Currently Racing: 600 Sprints
Racing Experience: 600 Sprints
Chase Donley began by coming in to help out every day after school and his dedication was rewarded when we invited him to join the team as a full time welder and fabrication assistant. Chase is a hard worker and a quick learner. He races the #15D 600 Sprint at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway.




Rickey Lint
Rickey has been welding for 15 years before he began with Hyper Racing. We could tell right off the bat that his talent level qualifies him to weld frames. He fits right in with the dedicated welding team and provides a level of perfection and professionalism we like here at Hyper Racing.




Jason Spitler
Jason is our co-op student from the local vocational technical school. Few make the cut to work with our fab and welding team, but Jason passed the tests we gave him and demonstrated skill beyond his years. We are happy to have him as a part of our team.




Alex Ruppert
“Rupp” is rapidly gaining experience working in the shock department. He also has been helping in the receiving department with Jason. Alex R. won the Linda’s National Open last year, and plans to race his 600 Sprint this year at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway as well as travel to some of the big money races around the country.




Maddie Tyson
Maddie’s face lights up when she talks about racing. And that passion is exactly why we hired her to help pull parts in the fulfillment team. Maddie started going to Silver Springs Speedway at 1 year old, and currently she is Miss Mason 270 Dixon series. Her favorite track is Port Royal and she attends the Grove and BAPS on a weekly basis. We’re glad to have Maddie on board!





Ed Heckendorn
Ed works with the fabricators, inventory team and machine shop, making sure all of the parts go back and forth to anodizing and powdercoating as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are so fortunate to have him to take care of this every week.
