1000 Watt Tire Groover

If you find yourself having to push hard on your old tire groover, this unit will cut like butter with 1000 watts of power! This is twice that of the other models available.

Provides instant heat when in use, and no heat when not in use, thus protecting the cutter head and blade from overheating. A switch inside the tip turns on the heat when the blade is pressed into the tire, at which point the blade gets red hot in less than a second (depending on heat setting).

Includes 20 blades including U-type and V-type blades from 5/64" to 1/4" and 2 spare fuses in a handy case.

The pinch blade holder on the grooving handle can slide out to be 7/8" wide allowing each blade to cut varying widths.

The pulse voltmeter screen displays the current which relates to the temperature of the blade. This can be infinitely adjusted, giving you accurate and consistent cutting with ease of user effort.

This is our go to groover for the house cars. In our tests with Hoosier ASCS2 or the U6SA tire, we only need to set the power setting half of full power.
