Fuel Pump Relay Kit, Universal

Safety first! Use this sealed relay to turn the fuel pump on and off as the ECU demands. It is a safety feature, so when the engine shuts off, the ECU will turn the pump off. This prevents fuel from continuing to flow when the driver cannot or does not turn the fuel off manually. If a fuel line is broken and the car is stopped, the relay will provide added protection against potential fire and feeding of fire. Complies with U6SA requirement for fuel pump relay.

This relay is an acceptable U6SA device.

Green wire (trip wire): Pin into the ECU connector or crimp to the relay trip wire from the ECU

White wire: Attach to the (+) positive side of the fuel pump.

Red wire: Attach to the (+) positive side of the battery.

Run a separate black wire (not included) from the (-) negative side of the battery to the (-) negative side of the fuel pump connection.
