Rising Sun, Maryland’s Steven Snyder Jr continued his winning ways across the United States in 2023, by sweeping the Non-wing A-Class portion of the inaugural Deuces Wild Shootout event at the US-24 Speedway.

Things got underway Thursday night with 117 drivers vying for a qualifying spot in the preliminary feature event. Hyper Racing, EVO Fuel Injection driver Steven Snyder Jr secured the win in heat race number nine, and backed the effort up with a convincing win in qualifier number one.

Off to the feature event Sndyer Jr went, and scored the $2,222.23 preliminary night win locking himself into the dash on Saturday night for the top six starting spots in the $12,222.23 to win event.

Saturday’s dash set the top six starting spots for the finale, which again found Steven Snyder Jr on the winning end, adding yet another $1,000 to the bank account heading to the feature event. Come feature time, try as they might, but nobody could catch Steven Snyder Jr as he went on to score a dominating victory, and the richest ever weekend event for 600 sprint racing.

Fellow Hyper Racing/EVO Fuel Injection driver, and manager of Hyper Racing Texas, Johnny Boland joined Snyder Jr in the top ten with a sixth place finish. The next nearest competitor on the potent Hyper/EVO combo was “Big Money” Brian Carber who came home in eleventh!
