For the first time ever, the KKM Challenge/POWRi Outlaw wingless 600 series made its way to the newly renovated Plaza Park Raceway in California. 

Deep in the heart of rival chassis manufacturers, Hyper Racing had seven lone representatives make the long journey for competition, and when the final checkers flew, it was more than worth it for Hyper Racing. 

Steven Snyder Jr finished third in his preliminary night and secured a lock-in spot for the feature event on Friday night, as well as a guaranteed spot in the dash. Snyder Jr came home second in the dash and was set for action in the feature event. Fellow Hyper drivers Chelby Hinton, and Brian Carber also locked their way into the feature event by way of B Main action, starting 19th and 24th respectively. 

Feature event action was more than intense! Steve Snyder Jr and West Coast regular Jeffrey Pahule traded slide job after slide job at the front of the field from their front row starting spots, lap after lap with Snyder Jr coming out on top and securing another $10,000 victory for himself, and for the Hyper Racing 600cc Chassis brand. 

Fellow Hyper drivers Chelby Hinton and Brian Carber were equally as impressive with Carber storming from the 24th and final starting spot to finish seventh in the feature earning Hard Charger honors. Chelby Hinton was also on the move from 19th to 9th in his fourth ever feature event behind the wheel of a Hyper Chassis. Hyper drivers Austin Ullstrom, Matt Carr, Tommy Kunsman Jr and Darren Brown did not fare as well as they would have liked, with all four having their nights come to an end in semi feature events. Disappointment can't last too long in the sunny seventy degree weather in California in March, and if given the chance, the Hyper Racing team would definitely return!
