The first ever Northeast Outlaw Invasion at the Greenwood Valley Action Tracks was held on August 23rd & 24th, for outlaw engine 600cc Micro Sprints, a rarity here in the northeast with only two official shows this season. 

A stout field of East Coast drivers filled the pit area on Friday night, for a chance at two $1,000 preliminary victories, and four lock-in positions to Saturday night's $12,000 A-Main. 

Feature event number one went to Bethlehem, PA driver Tommy Kunsman Jr, with Hyper Racing drivers Dylan Kontra, Aidan Donaldson, Kyle Lick, and Connor Mirabelli securing top five finishing positions. 19 of the feature event's 25 drivers were Hyper Racing Chassis. 

Feature event number two fell to Hyper Racing and EVO Fuel Injection customer, Tyler Lindsay, who scored the win with Kyle Spence, James Roselli, and Gunnar Pio rounding out the top five. Feature number two saw 17 of the 25 starters being Hyper Racing Chassis drivers. 

Saturday night saw 68 drivers enter the pit area trying to get their hands on a $12,000 payday, in addition to the four drivers already locked in as feature event starters. Once all was said and done, long time Hyper Racing and EVO Fuel Injection customer Tommy Kunsman Jr won the biggest main event of his career worth $12,000 over good friend and fellow Hyper Racing/EVO driver Kyle Spence. Billy Koch with a monster run from 19th finished in third, with Dylan Kontra being the final Hyper Racing driver in the top five. Of the feature event starters, all but five were drivers utilizing a Hyper Racing Chassis! 

Kunsman’s win on Saturday was his third of the season at the Greenwood Valley Action Tracks, all of which were events with extra money on the line! A $2,500 Speedweek win, $1,000 Prelim win, and $12,000 Finale win all belong to Kunsman this season at Greenwood!
