The 2025 Edition of Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek, Presented by Flying A Motorsports was the biggest it has ever been! Again, high car counts, including new records, and drivers from across the United States, and even New Zealand entered the pit area each night for the hotly contested week of action.
2025 saw a record $100,000 in cash prizes be paid out between bonus money, regular feature purse money, $10,000 Speedweek finale, and combined 600 and Junior Sprint point funds. The same seven tracks as the previous year were again the battle grounds for action, with the week kicking off at the Spirit Auto Center Speedway in Swedesboro, NJ, before the series moved just a bit south to the Airport Speedway in New Castle, DE. From there it was five straight nights of action in Pennsylvania at Greenwood Valley Action Track in Orangeville, PA; Action Track USA in Kutztown, PA; Linda’s Speedway in Jonestown, PA; McGrewBid Motoplex in York Haven, PA; and the Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway in Brickerville, PA.
Tommy Kunsman kicked things off with the win on Sunday night at Spirit Auto Center Speedway trying to get his shot at a Speedweek title off on the right foot. Monday night's show at “The Bullring” Airport Speedway was cancelled due to severe weather, shifting focus to Greenwood Valley.
Dylan Kontra scored a big redemption victory after suffering a mechanical failure while battling for the lead in last year's Speedweek event. 94 battle-ready 600’s entered the pit area, setting a new record for 600 Speedweek at Greenwood Valley. The traveling series then ventured to the Action Track USA where the pit area was jam packed with well over 100 well equipped 600cc Micro Sprints pit side for the event, and well over 20 Junior Sprints. Unfortunately just like the event at Airport, severe weather was forecasted to make an appearance just as things were scheduled to get underway forcing the cancellation of the event and giving mother nature her second win of the week.
Attention then moved west down I-78 to Linda’s Speedway, where at conclusion of the feature event, it was again Alex Ruppert who took the checkers first and scored his third career 600 Speedweek win. On Friday night, the series moved just further west down to the McGrewBid Motoplex for their second ever 600 Speedweek event, where Trevor Gach and Christian Bruno put on a show at the front of the show with Bruno getting the best of Gach at feature conclusion.
Rolling into Saturday night, the points fight was razor thin with Alex Ruppert leading the points over Connor Gross, and Dylan Kontra, all with a shot to win the feature event. After an up, down, back and forth battle all night long, that even saw Connor Gross draw a caution and have to come from the back of the field, Christian Bruno scored his second straight 600 Speedweek win of 2025, and second straight $10,000 Speedweek finale. When the dust settled, Connor Gross picked up the 2025 600 Speedweek Championship and the belt over Alex Ruppert, Dylan Kontra, Adam Buchel, and Christian Bruno.
While over on the Junior Sprint side of things, Jax Wittmer swept the week winning all five of the feature events and picking up the 2025 Junior Sprint Speedweek Championship belt, duplicating the effort of Brexton Busch who did the same in 2024! The Junior Sprint division was only added in 2024, but 2025 saw car counts explode with 17 cars at the first two nights, with 25+ for the final three nights including an incredible 28 cars at McGrewBid Motoplex! The class averaged 23 cars over the week with the 600 Division right on track with an 86 car average.

Speedweek would not be possible without the hard work by Nick Fillman. Nick takes the lead role in promoting this series and makes it look effortless, but staging this series successfully is a result of the preparation and planning he puts into it behind the scenes. Thanks Nick, for once again pulling off an extraordinary Speedweek that Hyper Racing is proud to put our name on.
