These are bent forward to move the top wing forward.
Measures 10-1/2" in overall length and 3/4" in diameter. Can easily be cut to a shorter length.
The down side of ball bearing wing posts for internal slider wings is that they can gall the aluminum internal runners.
Our design is the first to solve this problem. It uses nylon rollers (not steel bearings) to slide the wing. The nylon roller provides cushion as well as a wider spread contact area for the runner, eliminating wear and galling.
The production process to manufacture this unique item would normally be cost prohibitive. We went all out by making our own casting of 4140 high carbon steel. Creating a molded part enables us to keep costs down.
