Indiana’s Kole Kirkman added to his already outstanding 2024 season by winning the weather postponed Terry Sprague Memorial at the Southern Illinois Raceway on August 17th.

Since pairing with long time Hyper Racing car owner Troy Leonard and Hinkle Performance, Kirkman has been on a tear across Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky this season with a win total nearing 25 total wins (so far!) between wing, non-wing, a-class and outlaw. However, one key piece remaining was one of the many crown jewel events throughout the 2024 600 Sprint season.

Kirkman was able to knock that missing crown jewel event off his plate with the make up event of the Sprague Memorial on the 17th, winning in dominating fashion, with a tenth to first run passing Kyle Spence late in the running. Fellow Hyper Racing driver Kyle Spence finished second in the feature driving for Indiana owner Nick Yoder. Other Hyper Racing drivers finishing within the top ten were Aiden Purdue in seventh, Greyson Springer in eight, and Steven Snyder Jr in tenth. Completing the Hyper Racing drivers in the field were Daniel Robinson in 11th, Nick Leingang in 12th, Max Crabdree who scored the Hard Charger award by moving from 24th to 14th, LeRoy Carley in 15th, and Matt Carr in 22nd.
