In the most unique race on the East Coast for 600 Micro Sprints, the annual 100-lap feature at Airport Speedway wrapped up the season for much of the Northeast’s competitive field. Stacked with bonuses and special awards, the race drew 93 drivers to the New Castle, Delaware pit area, all ready for battle.

In feature action, Christian Bruno put on a show, charging past early leaders Tim Buckwalter and Connor Gross to claim the halfway bonus awarded in honor of the late racer Whitey Kidd III. From that point on, however, it was all Asbury Park, New Jersey’s Connor Gross. He took command of the race and never looked back, securing his third consecutive Airport Speedway 100-Lap Battle of the Bullring triumph, and a cool $5,000 payday.
