Front Axle, 42" x 1-3/4", Wingless, Power Steering, Coil Over, 600 Micro Sprint

Power Steering Front Axles are designed with 18 degrees of caster to work with our power steering setup. 

This wider front axle improves entry on a wingless car.

Hyper Racing’s 1-3/4” Front Axles are constructed from the highest possible quality .083” 4130 chromoly tubing sourced from either USA or Germany. Each axle is fitted with the utmost care and attention to detail using CNC laser cut tabs and bosses and welded to perfection. Black powder coating completes the look and provides protection and durability. Front Axles include quick change threaded shock studs (2), spacers (2)  and 1⁄2”-20 nylock half nuts (2). Features double shear towers for superior strength and 2.080” king pin bosses.

Threaded holes will require re-tapping of threads to remove powder coating material.

How to Measure Your Front Axle
Measure axle length from the top of the kingpin bosses, center to center, rounding up to the nearest quarter inch.

Choosing Your Front Axle
Front Axles are specified by:

• Length: See “How to Measure Your Front Axle” above.
• Chassis type: 600cc, 270cc, etc.
• Suspension type: Styles are available for torsion or coil over suspensions.
• Wing preference: Axles specifically designed for wingless racing are available and are indicated as wingless. Axles not indicated as wingless work for both winged and wingless.
• Steering type: Axles specifically designed for power steering (018-series) are available. Axles not indicated as power steering are designed for manual steering.
