2-27-2012 - Introduction of the NEW Hyper FIT ECOversion!
Finally, a methanol fuel injection conversion for the budget minded racer! Traditionally, the methanol conversion replaced many of the factory components on the throttle bodies and airbox. This conversion bypasses the need for so many aftermarket components and therefore reduces the cost of the system by nearly $1000 in most cases. At this point we have only tested a few different engine combinations but the results are very promising. We are in need of test subjects to formulate fuel mapping using the ECOversion. Please call for details.
8-7-2011 - I have been racing all summer with the 2008 GSXR, fueled by the new Hyper FIT fuel injection. To this point there have been no failures of any kind from it. I am very impressed with the acceleration and top end horsepower. Often times it leaves me wondering if it really is just a 600cc.
4-12-2011 - It stopped raining long enough to finally get a weekend of racing under my belt! A Friday night rain out chased us to Lanco to turn a few test laps at the open practice session on Saturday night. With all handling woes eliminated, confidence high and super fast race car, we headed to Path Valley on Sunday for the make-up race from Fridays rain out. The track was tacky and lightning fast. I was turning 10.3 second lap times in my heat! I don't think I have personally ever gone that quick around PV. After a convincing heat race win, we lined up 10th for the feature, were leading by lap 5 and won by over a half track. The report on the Suzuki is good! I still cant believe how strong it feels coming off the corners. The new airbox and injection are very easy to work on. I'm beginning to feel a little spoiled that I can have my air filter cleaned and reinstalled in less than 5 minutes.
I have also worked through some throttle response issues that were present for the first few races with the 08-11 GSXR 600. Anyone experiencing sluggish takeoff should contact me for a quick fix.
3-20-2011 - I had the new GSXR on the track this weekend at Path Valley Speedway for their opening night. I started outside pole and finished second. The track was dry with not much passing but I was able to hold my own with the Suzuki. It definitely has a different feel than my Kawasaki's. The power delivery felt very smooth and it was surprisingly strong coming off the corners. I am curious to see how it will stack up when we get to a heavy track where we are on the hammer most of the way around. So far though, it feels good to me!
3-7-2011 - We, at Hyper FIT, are proud to introduce the 2008-2011 Suzuki GSXR to our line of HBS Air boxes! This Air box features a flat panel filter design which can be replaced in just seconds. In addition to the new airbox and its benefits, the 2008-2011 GSXR fuel injection has been revised from the 2006-2007 design. With upgraded injectors and new Power Commander options, the new GSXR comes together to create a potent package.
